The New Israel Fund stands for a just, safe and equal Israel.

The New Israel Fund (NIF) partners with and funds Israeli organisations that defend democracy and deliver a fairer society for all.

Through our work, the New Israel Fund:

· Empowers minorities and marginalised people.

· Defends democracy and human rights for Israelis and Palestinians.

· Advances partnership between Arab and Jewish leaders and communities.

Since its inception, NIF has provided more than £225 million to more than 900 grassroots organisations working to defend democracy and human rights in Israel. But NIF is so much more than a funder, and it has created, developed and nurtured hundreds of impactful organisations in Israel.

‘Shatil’ is NIF’s branch on the ground in Israel, providing tailor-made consultancy and training to over 300 charities across Israel, helping them to identify their weaknesses, build on their strengths and work collaboratively to promote a safe, shared and equal future for all.
